We are happy, proud and grateful to be able to live and work in such a special place like Visby. Something else that we are also happy and proud of are the amazing reviews that you, our wonderful guests, have written about us. We are convinced that one has to do with the other. It is the love of Visby that unites us and our guests. We do not only provide a comfortable bed to sleep in and a good breakfast. We provide you with the Visby experience.

These reviews are so good that we get top scores for Visby on all platforms, such as Google, Booking and TripAdvisor etc.

The trade association HSMAI has made a compilation of all these reviews across all platforms during 2018 and found that the Hotel St Clemens had the best guest experience throughout Sweden.

We have now been on the list of Swedish hotels with the best service for twelve years running.

Great hotel at the centre of Visby
We had a great relaxed trip to Visby. The hotel is close to the centre of the old town and built next to old ruins and the botanical garden. The staff was amazing and the rooms were clean and cozy. Dozing off outside at the front or back gardens in the morning or evenings is highly recommended.

A magical location with extremely friendly staff
I loved the location, next to the ruined church and the botanical garden . I loved the garden for sitting in if an evening. The staff were incredibly friendly too. Oh, and I like the free coffee.

Fairy tail St. Clemens
Amazing stay and we will recommend to everybody. Lovely accomodation in the city centre, great breakfast. The service at the reception was super, helpful, we received a lots of information about island, renting car which help us enjoy our stay and make a nice trip. Also the hotel attitude about enviroment is very nice.

Pros: perfect location, sparkling clean, historic, picturesque, friendly staff, delicious breakfast spread, beautiful garden seating, bikes to rent, eco-friendly, perfect in every way. Would definitely stay here again. Great value!
